[173] "And how, bhikkhus, does a bhikkhu accomplished in wise attention (yonisomanasikāra) develop the Noble Eightfold Path (ariya aṭṭhaṅgika magga), how does he cultivate the Noble Eightfold Path? Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu develops right view (sammādiṭṭhi) dependent on seclusion (viveka) … he develops right concentration (sammāsamādhi) dependent on seclusion, dependent on dispassion (virāga), dependent on cessation (nirodha), maturing in relinquishment (vossaggapariṇāmi). It is in this way, bhikkhus, that a bhikkhu accomplished in wise attention develops the Noble Eightfold Path and cultivates the Noble Eightfold Path."
