[1800] Just so, bhikkhus, few are those beings who, having passed away from the realm of ghosts (pittivisaya), are reborn among human beings; rather, far more numerous are those beings who, having passed away from the realm of ghosts, are reborn in hell (niraya). … are reborn in the animal womb (tiracchānayoni). … are reborn in the realm of ghosts.
