[348] "Bhikkhus, it is for the direct knowledge (abhiññā) of these five aggregates subject to clinging, for the full understanding (pariññā) of them, for their utter destruction (parikkhaya), for their abandoning (pahāna) … that this Noble Eightfold Path (ariyo aṭṭhaṅgiko magga) is to be developed."
