[460] "Then, venerable sir, when I had gone to an empty dwelling (suññāgāra), turning these five aggregates subject to clinging over and over — upside down and right side up — I directly knew as it really is: 'This is suffering (dukkha)'; I directly knew as it really is: 'This is the origin of suffering'; I directly knew as it really is: 'This is the cessation of suffering'; I directly knew as it really is: 'This is the way of practice leading to the cessation of suffering.'"
