[502] Bhikkhus, these seven factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga) produce vision, produce knowledge (ñāṇa), conduce to the growth of wisdom, partake of non-vexation, and lead to Nibbāna. What seven? The awakening factor of mindfulness (sati), bhikkhus, produces vision, produces knowledge, conduces to the growth of wisdom, partakes of non-vexation, and leads to Nibbāna … The awakening factor of equanimity (upekkhā), bhikkhus, produces vision, produces knowledge, conduces to the growth of wisdom, partakes of non-vexation, and leads to Nibbāna. These, bhikkhus, are the seven factors of awakening that produce vision, produce knowledge, conduce to the growth of wisdom, partake of non-vexation, and lead to Nibbāna.

Two on the wholesome, and defilement;¹ two on attention, and growth;
Non-obstructions,² non-decline; hindrances-obstructions; the tree;
And with the hindrances — these are the ten.
