[531] And what, bhikkhus, is the nutriment (āhāra) for the arising of the unarisen rapture factor of awakening (pīti-sambojjhaṅga), or for the development and fulfillment of the arisen rapture factor of awakening? There are, bhikkhus, dhammas that serve as a basis for the rapture factor of awakening: frequently giving careful attention (yoniso manasikāra) to them — this is the nutriment for the arising of the unarisen rapture factor of awakening, or for the development and fulfillment of the arisen rapture factor of awakening.
