[590] "Friends, we too teach the Dhamma to our disciples thus: 'Come, friends, having abandoned the five hindrances (nīvaraṇa), the corruptions of the mind (citta) that weaken wisdom, dwell pervading one direction with a mind imbued with loving-kindness …'"
