[809] …he dwells contemplating dhammas in dhammas, ardent (ātāpī), clearly comprehending, mindful, having removed covetousness and grief regarding the world. As he dwells contemplating dhammas in dhammas, whatever desire (chanda) there is for dhammas is abandoned. With the abandoning of that desire, the Deathless (amata) is realized.
