[824] Bhikkhus, this is what Brahmā Sahampati said. Having said this, he then further said this: The seer of the end that is the destruction of birth (jāti), compassionate for their welfare, understands the one-way path (ekāyana magga); by this path they crossed the flood in the past, and by it they will cross, and they cross now.
