[108] There is no offense (anāpatti): if, within a monastery (ajjhārāme) or within a dwelling (ajjhāvasathe), having picked it up himself or having had it picked up, he puts it aside, thinking, "It will belong to whoever owns it; he will take it away"; if he is insane (ummattaka); if he is the first offender (ādikammika).
