[144] There is no offence: if within seven days he determines it; if he gives it away; if it is lost; if it is destroyed; if it is burnt; if they seize it and take it;¹ if one takes it on trust;² if, having given it to one not fully ordained—with it relinquished, given up, let go, without expectation—and having received it back, he consumes it; if he is insane; if he is the first offender.
