[186] "Insulting speech (omasavāda)" means: one insults in ten ways — by birth (jāti), by name (nāma), by clan (gotta), by work (kamma), by craft (sippa), by disease (ābādha), by bodily feature (liṅga), by defilement (kilesa), by offense (āpatti), and by abuse (akkosa).
