[292] When the person is not fully ordained (anupasampanna) and the bhikkhu perceives him as not fully ordained, and he lies down to sleep together with him for more than two or three nights, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya). When the person is not fully ordained and the bhikkhu is in doubt, and he lies down to sleep together with him for more than two or three nights, there is an offense entailing expiation. When the person is not fully ordained and the bhikkhu perceives him as fully ordained (upasampanna), and he lies down to sleep together with him for more than two or three nights, there is an offense entailing expiation.
In a place half-roofed and half-enclosed, there is an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa). When the person is fully ordained and the bhikkhu perceives him as not fully ordained, there is an offense of wrongdoing. When the person is fully ordained and the bhikkhu is in doubt, there is an offense of wrongdoing.
When the person is fully ordained and the bhikkhu perceives him as fully ordained, there is no offense (anāpatti).
