[291] **"Whoever" (yo pana):** whoever, of whatever sort … . **"Bhikkhu":** … this is the bhikkhu intended in this meaning. **"One not fully ordained" (anupasampanna):** setting aside a bhikkhu, the remainder are called "not fully ordained." **"More than two or three nights" (uttari dvirattatirattaṃ):** exceeding two or three nights. **"Together" (saha):** as one. **"Sleeping place" (seyyā):** one that is fully roofed, fully walled in, mostly roofed, or mostly walled in. **"Should engage in lying down" (seyyaṃ kappeyya):** on the fourth day, when the sun has set, if, when the one not fully ordained is lying down, the bhikkhu lies down, there is an offense of pācittiya. If, when the bhikkhu is lying down, the one not fully ordained lies down, there is an offense of pācittiya. Or if both lie down, there is an offense of pācittiya.
