[431] "Whatever" (yo pana) means: whoever, of whatever sort … "Bhikkhu" means: … this is the bhikkhu intended in this meaning. "Bhikkhunīs' quarters" (bhikkhunūpassaya) means: wherever bhikkhunīs dwell even for a single night. "Having approached" means: having gone there. "Bhikkhunīs" means: women fully ordained in both Saṅghas. "Should exhort" means: if he exhorts them with the eight principles of respect (garudhamma), there is an offense of pācittiya. "Except on the occasion" means: setting the occasion aside. "Sick" (gilānā) means: a bhikkhunī who is unable to go for the exhortation or for communion (saṃvāsa).
