[537] In a sleeping room (sayanīghara), perceiving it as a sleeping room, should a bhikkhu intrude upon and sit down in a family "with food" (sabhojane kule), there is an offense entailing confession (pācittiya). In a sleeping room, in doubt, should he intrude upon and sit down in a family "with food," there is an offense entailing confession. In a sleeping room, perceiving it as not a sleeping room, should he intrude upon and sit down in a family "with food," there is an offense entailing confession.

In what is not a sleeping room, perceiving it as a sleeping room, there is an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa). In what is not a sleeping room, in doubt, there is an offense of wrongdoing.
