[541] When it is a woman (mātugāma), and he perceives her as a woman, and he sits down together with her in private on a concealed seat: an offense entailing confession (pācittiya).
When it is a woman, and he is in doubt, and he sits down in private on a concealed seat: an offense entailing confession.
When it is a woman, and he perceives her as not a woman, and he sits down in private on a concealed seat: an offense entailing confession.
If he sits down in private on a concealed seat together with a female yakkha (yakkhī), or a female peta (petī), or a paṇḍaka, or a female animal having a human-like body: an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa).
When it is not a woman, and he perceives her as a woman: an offense of wrongdoing.
When it is not a woman, and he is in doubt: an offense of wrongdoing.
When it is not a woman, and he perceives her as not a woman: no offense.
