[660] When it is a woman (mātugāma) and he perceives her as a woman, having made an arrangement he travels the same road together with her, even as far as the space between one village and the next: an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
When it is a woman and he is in doubt, having made an arrangement he travels the same road together with her, even as far as the space between one village and the next: an offense entailing expiation.
When it is a woman and he perceives her as not a woman, having made an arrangement he travels the same road together with her, even as far as the space between one village and the next: an offense entailing expiation.
If the bhikkhu makes the arrangement but the woman does not make the arrangement: an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa).
Having made an arrangement with a female yakkha, or a female peta, or a paṇḍaka, or a female animal having human form, he travels the same road together with her, even as far as the space between one village and the next: an offense of wrong-doing.
When it is not a woman and he perceives her as a woman: an offense of wrong-doing.
When it is not a woman and he is in doubt: an offense of wrong-doing.
When it is not a woman and he perceives her as not a woman: no offense.
