Upakkhaṭasikkhāpada

[69] There is no offense: when [the householders] are relatives; when they have given an invitation (pavārita); when it is for the sake of another; when it is by means of his own wealth; when, though they wish to have an expensive [robe] purchased, he has an inexpensive one purchased; for one who is insane; for the first offender (ādikammika).
