Chandaṁadatvāgamanasikkhāpada

[767] There is no offense: if he makes it to the proper measure; if he makes it less than the measure; if, having obtained one made by another exceeding the measure, he cuts it down and uses it; if he makes it into a canopy, or a ground covering, or a cloth screen, or a mattress, or a pillow; for one who is insane; for the first offender.
