[778] If he himself completes what he himself has left unfinished, there is an offense (āpatti) of pācittiya. If he has others complete what he himself has left unfinished, there is an offense of pācittiya. If he himself completes what others have left unfinished, there is an offense of pācittiya. If he has others complete what others have left unfinished, there is an offense of pācittiya.
If he makes it, or has it made, for the benefit of another, there is an offense of dukkaṭa. If, having obtained one made by another, he uses it, there is an offense of dukkaṭa.
