[179] Bhikkhus, there is one dhamma that, when developed and made much of, leads exclusively to disenchantment (ekantanibbidā), to detachment (virāga), to cessation, to peace (upasama), to superknowledge (abhiññā), to enlightenment (sambodha), to Nibbāna. What is that one dhamma? Recollection of the Buddha (buddhānussati). This, bhikkhus, is the one dhamma that, when developed and made much of, leads exclusively to disenchantment, to detachment, to cessation, to peace, to superknowledge, to enlightenment, to Nibbāna.
