Ekanipāta

[227] Bhikkhus, when one dhamma is developed and cultivated, the body becomes tranquil, the mind (citta) becomes tranquil, thought and examination (vitakka-vicāra) subside, and all the dhammas that partake of true knowledge (vijjā) reach fulfillment by development. What is that one dhamma? Mindfulness directed to the body (kāyagatāsati). Bhikkhus, when this one dhamma is developed and cultivated, the body becomes tranquil, the mind becomes tranquil, thought and examination subside, and all the dhammas that partake of true knowledge reach fulfillment by development.
