[196] Bhikkhus, in a well-proclaimed Dhamma and Discipline (dhammavinaya), the one who encourages, the one whom he encourages, and the one who, being encouraged, practices accordingly — all of them generate much merit (puñña). For what reason? Because, bhikkhus, the Dhamma is well proclaimed.
