[482] Bhikkhus, one who sees three reasons (atthavasa) has quite sufficient grounds to teach the Dhamma to others. What are the three? The one who teaches the Dhamma experiences the meaning (attha) and experiences the Dhamma; the one who hears the Dhamma experiences the meaning and experiences the Dhamma; and both the one who teaches the Dhamma and the one who hears the Dhamma experience the meaning and experience the Dhamma. Bhikkhus, one who sees these three reasons has quite sufficient grounds to teach the Dhamma to others.
