[585] Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu possessing three things is one who has reached the ultimate conclusion, won the ultimate security from bondage (accantayogakkhemī), one who lives the ultimate holy life, reached the ultimate consummation, best among devas and humans. Which three? Right view (sammādiṭṭhi), right knowledge (sammāñāṇa), and right deliverance (sammāvimutti). Bhikkhus, possessing these three things, a bhikkhu is one who has reached the ultimate conclusion, won the ultimate security from bondage, one who lives the ultimate holy life, reached the ultimate consummation, best among devas and humans.

arising, the hair-blanket,
faith, growth, the three horses,
