[239] Bhikkhus, one possessing four qualities (dhammā) is deposited in hell (niraya) as if carried and placed there. What four? Blameworthy bodily action (kāyakamma), blameworthy verbal action (vacīkamma), blameworthy mental action (manokamma), and blameworthy view (diṭṭhi). Bhikkhus, one possessing these four qualities is deposited in hell as if carried and placed there. Bhikkhus, one possessing four qualities is deposited in heaven (sagga) as if carried and placed there. What four? Blameless bodily action, blameless verbal action, blameless mental action, and blameless view. Bhikkhus, one possessing these four qualities is deposited in heaven as if carried and placed there.
