[151] Bhikkhus, one possessing five qualities, even while listening to the true Dhamma (saddhamma), is incapable of entering the fixed course (niyāma), the rightness (sammatta) in wholesome dhammas. What five? One disparages the talk; one disparages the speaker; one disparages oneself; one listens to the Dhamma with a distracted mind (citta); with a mind not unified, one attends unwisely. Bhikkhus, one possessing these five qualities, even while listening to the true Dhamma, is incapable of entering the fixed course, the rightness in wholesome dhammas.
