[152] Bhikkhus, one possessing five qualities, even while listening to the true Dhamma (saddhamma), is incapable of entering the fixed course (niyāma) of rightness in wholesome qualities. What five? He disparages the talk; he disparages the speaker; he disparages himself; he is of poor wisdom, dull, and stupid; he imagines that he has understood what he has not understood. Bhikkhus, one possessing these five qualities, even while listening to the true Dhamma, is incapable of entering the fixed course of rightness in wholesome qualities.
