[267] Bhikkhus, for the direct knowledge (abhiññā) of lust (rāga), five dhammas should be developed. Which five? The perception of foulness (asubhasaññā), the perception of death (maraṇasaññā), the perception of danger (ādīnavasaññā), the perception of repulsiveness in food (āhāre paṭikūlasaññā), and the perception of non-delight in the entire world (sabbaloke anabhiratasaññā). Bhikkhus, for the direct knowledge of lust, these five dhammas should be developed.
