Duccaritasutta

[379] Bhikkhus, there are these three things (dhammā). What three? Bodily misconduct (kāyaduccarita), verbal misconduct (vacīduccarita), and mental misconduct (manoduccarita). These, bhikkhus, are the three things. For the abandoning (pahāna) of these three things, three things should be developed. What three? For the abandoning of bodily misconduct, good bodily conduct (kāyasucarita) should be developed; for the abandoning of verbal misconduct, good verbal conduct (vacīsucarita) should be developed; for the abandoning of mental misconduct, good mental conduct (manosucarita) should be developed. For the abandoning of these three things, bhikkhus, these three things should be developed.
