[385] "Bhikkhus, there are these three things (dhammā). What three? Non-contentment (asantuṭṭhitā), lack of clear comprehension (asampajañña), and greatness of wishes (mahicchatā). These, bhikkhus, are the three things. For the abandonment of these three things, bhikkhus, three things should be developed. What three? For the abandonment of non-contentment, contentment (santuṭṭhitā) should be developed; for the abandonment of lack of clear comprehension, clear comprehension should be developed; for the abandonment of greatness of wishes, fewness of wishes (appicchatā) should be developed. For the abandonment of these three things, bhikkhus, these three things should be developed."
