[60] Bhikkhus, one gone forth in old age (vuḍḍhapabbajita) endowed with five qualities is rare. With what five? Bhikkhus, one gone forth in old age who is easy to correct (suvaco) is rare; one who grasps well what he has learned (suggahitaggāhī) is rare; one who accepts instruction respectfully (padakkhiṇaggāhī) is rare; one who is a speaker on the Dhamma (dhammakathika) is rare; one who is a bearer of the Discipline (vinayadhara) is rare. Bhikkhus, one gone forth in old age endowed with these five qualities is rare.
