[61] Bhikkhus, these five perceptions (saññā), when developed and cultivated, are of great fruit, of great benefit, merging in the deathless (amata), culminating in the deathless. What five? The perception of impermanence (aniccasaññā), the perception of non-self (anattasaññā), the perception of death (maraṇasaññā), the perception of repulsiveness in nutriment (āhāre paṭikkūlasaññā), and the perception of non-delight in the entire world (sabbaloke anabhiratasaññā). These, bhikkhus, are the five perceptions which, when developed and cultivated, are of great fruit, of great benefit, merging in the deathless, culminating in the deathless.
