[134] "Bhikkhus, I will teach you the good (sādhu) and the not good (asādhu). Listen to it and attend carefully; I will speak." "Yes, venerable sir," those bhikkhus replied to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said this: "And what, bhikkhus, is the not good? Wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi), wrong thought (micchāsaṅkappa), wrong speech (micchāvācā), wrong action (micchākammanta), wrong livelihood (micchā-ājīva), wrong effort (micchāvāyāma), wrong mindfulness (micchāsati), wrong concentration (micchāsamādhi), wrong knowledge (micchāñāṇa), wrong deliverance (micchāvimutti) — this, bhikkhus, is called the not good.
"And what, bhikkhus, is the good? Right view (sammādiṭṭhi), right thought (sammāsaṅkappa), right speech (sammāvācā), right action (sammākammanta), right livelihood (sammā-ājīva), right effort (sammāvāyāma), right mindfulness (sammāsati), right concentration (sammāsamādhi), right knowledge (sammāñāṇa), right deliverance (sammāvimutti) — this, bhikkhus, is called the good."
