[145] "Bhikkhus, I will teach you the noble path (ariyamagga) and the ignoble path (anariyamagga). Listen to it and attend closely; I will speak." "Yes, venerable sir," those bhikkhus replied to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said this: "And what, bhikkhus, is the ignoble path? Wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi) … wrong deliverance (micchāvimutti). This, bhikkhus, is called the ignoble path.
"And what, bhikkhus, is the noble path? Right view (sammādiṭṭhi) … right deliverance (sammāvimutti). This, bhikkhus, is called the noble path."
