[144] "Bhikkhus, I will teach you the dhamma that has suffering (dukkha) as its result (vipāka) and the dhamma that has happiness as its result. Listen to it and attend closely; I will speak." "Yes, venerable sir," those bhikkhus replied to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said this: "And what, bhikkhus, is the dhamma that has suffering as its result? Wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi) … wrong deliverance (micchāvimutti). This, bhikkhus, is called the dhamma that has suffering as its result. And what, bhikkhus, is the dhamma that has happiness as its result? Right view (sammādiṭṭhi) … right deliverance (sammāvimutti). This, bhikkhus, is called the dhamma that has happiness as its result." The Sādhu Chapter (Sādhuvagga), the Fourth. ___________ The Noble Path Chapter (Ariyamaggavagga), the Fifth
