[269] 2. Those[1] who oppress human beings with deeds mingled with impetuous force[2] and with deeds of manifold purpose — people of cruel and violent assault — they too are treated in just that same way; for the deed (kamma) does not perish. Whatever deed a man does, whether good or evil, of each and every deed he performs, of that very deed is he the heir. The Elder Jotidāsa.
