[284] 7. Just as a fine thoroughbred, though it has stumbled, stands firm again, and, having gained an even greater sense of urgency (saṃvega), undaunted, it bears its burden — even so, remember me — accomplished in vision (dassana), a disciple of the Fully Self-Enlightened One (sammāsambuddha) — as a thoroughbred (ājāniya), a son of the Buddha, born of his breast. The Elder Nandaka.
