[288] When I had gone forth in the teaching (sāsana) of the Fully Self-Enlightened One (Sammāsambuddha), I rose up, being liberated; I passed beyond the element of sensual pleasures (kāmadhātu). Then, while Brahmā looked on, my mind (citta) was liberated, [and I knew:] "Unshakable is my liberation (vimutti), through the destruction of all fetters (saṃyojana)." The Elder Migasira.
