[311] 5. "It was too cold, it was too hot, it was too late in the evening" — saying thus, casting their work aside, the moments pass young men by. But whoever thinks of cold and heat as no more than grass, doing the duties of a man — he does not fall away from happiness. Dabba grass, kusa grass, poṭakila, usīra, muñja, and pabbaja — I shall thrust them aside with my breast, cultivating seclusion (viveka). The Elder Mātaṅgaputta.
