[312] 6. Those ascetics dwelling in Pāṭaliputta who are speakers of brilliant discourse, of great learning — of them this venerable one is one: Khujjasobhita, who stands at the door. #1 M(aramma ed.): "panudissāni". [Variant-reading footnote; pertains to the preceding item.] Those ascetics dwelling in Pāṭaliputta who are speakers of brilliant discourse, of great learning — of them this venerable one is one, who stands at the door, impelled by the wind. Through a battle well fought, through a sacrifice well offered, and through victory in war, through the holy life (brahmacariya) constantly practiced — thus does this one prosper in happiness. The Elder Khujjasobhita.
