[329] 7. He who hurries when it is the time to go slowly,
and delays when it is the time to hurry —
by ordering his affairs unwisely,
that fool comes to suffering (dukkha).
His aims dwindle away
like the moon in the dark fortnight;
he incurs disgrace
and falls out with his friends.
He who goes slowly when it is the time to go slowly,
and hurries when it is the time to hurry —
by ordering his affairs wisely,
that wise man attains happiness.
His aims come to fulfillment
like the moon in the bright fortnight;
he attains fame and renown,
and does not fall out with his friends.
