Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (1) · Vol. 27 · Section 2069

[2069] "Do not, sire, give away your eye; do not forsake us all. Give wealth, great king — pearls and beryls in plenty. Give, sire, chariots yoked with adorned thoroughbreds; give elephants, great king, clad in trappings of gold. So give, O bull among charioteers, that all the Sivis, with their teams and chariots, may ever attend upon you on every side."
