[2394] With moral shame (hiri), forbearance (titikkhā), self-taming (dama), and patience (khanti), not given to anger, having abandoned divisive speech, an ascetic (samaṇa) faring on, having relinquished things cherished as 'mine'— one who acts thus goes to the heavenly place (sagga).
