[228] And upon a stool all of gold, eight-footed, delightful, smooth, and spread with cloth of Kāsi, Dhataraṭṭha sat down. And upon a chair all of gold, sewn round with tiger-skin, Sumukha took his seat, next after Dhataraṭṭha. Many of the Kāsi folk, taking it up in golden vessels, presented to those geese (haṃsa) the choicest food that had been sent to the king.
