[302] "Friend Puṇṇamukha, these are the six things which, when a task has arisen, prove of no service: A stringless bow, a wife dwelling in her kinsfolk's family, a boat on the farther shore, a carriage with a broken axle, a friend far away, and an evil companion — when a task has arisen, these prove of no service."
