[566] "And why do they seize yet others by the feet and hurl them head-downward into hell (naraka)? Fear indeed comes upon me at this sight, O charioteer (sūta). I ask you, Mātali, charioteer of the devas: # [Siam edition footnotes: 1. Sī. and Yu. read "kolīniyāyo". 2. Also read "ayuttan ti".] What evil, then, have these mortals done, these people whom they hurl (head-downward) into hell?"
