[579] This palace (byamha) shines, well-wrought of crystal,
thronged with troops of excellent women, resplendent with its pinnacled gables,
furnished with food and drink, and with both dance and song;
rivers set with all manner of flowering trees flow round about it.
Delight indeed comes over me, charioteer, at the sight;
I ask you, Mātali, charioteer of the devas:
what good deed, pray, did this mortal do,
that, having attained heaven, he rejoices in a mansion (vimāna)?
