[585] Just as the rising sun is red and great, of such a likeness is this celestial palace (byamha), fashioned of gold. Delight indeed comes over me, charioteer, at the sight; I ask you, Mātali, charioteer of the devas: what good deed, pray, did this mortal do, who rejoices in a mansion (vimāna), having attained heaven (sagga)?
